Fault Symptom Definition
(1) Severe abnormal noise occurs after engaging the front drive axle.
(2) Excessive noise is also present before engaging the front drive axle.

Fault Causes
(1) Poor meshing contact marks on the front center drive gear.
(2) Excessive clearance or damage to the center drive bearing.
(3) Differential shaft wear or seizure.
(4) Planetary gear or shim wear.
(5) Poor meshing of final drive gear pair.
(6) Damaged final drive gear pair bearings.
(7) Severe wear of transfer case bearings or gears.
(8) Interference between driveshaft and sleeve.
Troubleshooting and Fault Diagnosis
(1) Loud noise during steering but quiet when driving straight may indicate damage to internal differential components.
(2) Loud noise when driving with the clutch engaged, reduced noise when disengaged, may indicate damaged transmission gears.
(3) Persistently loud noise regardless of clutch engagement, likely caused by excessive bearing wear or gear meshing clearance.
(4) Resulting from improper operation during high-speed driving.
(5) Inspect the driveshaft for localized overheating; if present, it indicates interference between the driveshaft and its protective sleeve.
